This product is known to be a potent inhibitor of Rho kinase (ROCK). It displays a greater than 30-fold selectivity for ROCK over a serine/threonine kinase panel. It has been shown to induce vasorelaxation in preconstricted rat aorta and to lower blood pressure in a rat model of hypertension.
