Group II sPLA2 Antibody (SCACC353) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects group II sPLA2 protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-group II sPLA2 antibody (SCACC353) is available as a non-conjugated format. Group II sPLA2 (SCACC353) antibody recognizes a protein that plays a crucial role in phospholipid hydrolysis, leading to fatty acid release essential for membrane remodeling and signaling pathways. Group II sPLA2 (SCACC353) monoclonal antibody targets an enzyme important in inflammatory responses, generating bioactive lipids that modulate immune cell function. Group II sPLA2 protein interacts with cell membranes, influencing phospholipid metabolism and eicosanoid production, which are signaling molecules involved in inflammation and other physiological responses. The human gene encoding group II sPLA2 is located on chromosome 1, with expression tightly regulated in various tissues, highlighting significance in both normal physiology and pathological conditions.
