If I want to use the 200 ug/ml antibody at a 1:5000 dilution, what is the dilution procedure?

Thank you for your question. For that dilution you would have 1 µl antibody in 5 ml in a dilution buffer of your choice, such as 5 % UltraCruz blocking reagent in TBS-T.

Can this antidody be used to detect IgM kappa light chain for WB?

Thank you for your question. This goat anti-mouse IgG-HRP: sc-2005 is now discontinued. It is recommended for detection of mouse IgG. We do not know if it may also detect mouse IgM. We would recommend using our m-IgGκ BP-HRP: sc-516102 which has been validated for the detection of mouse IgM kappa light chain for WB.

Thank you for your question. This discontinued goat anti-mouse secondary antibody is no longer available. It is a secondary antibody made in goat, it consists of a pool of IgG, so not a specific isotype. Please reach out to Technical Service or your local distributor if you have any further questions, or would like help choosing an available secondary reagent.

Thank you for your question. Goat anti-mouse IgG-HRP: sc-2005 has been raised against mouse IgG and recognizes both the light and the heavy chain of mouse IgG antibodies. This polyclonal antibody is no longer available.
