Glutathione Antibody (D8) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a antibody that detects Glutathione protein of non-species reactive by western blotting (WB) and immunoprecipitation (IP). Anti-Glutathione antibody (D8) is available as the non-conjugated format. Glutathione, a tripeptide composed of glutamine, cysteine, and glycine, plays a crucial role in cellular defense against oxidative stress, acting as a potent antioxidant. Glutathione is primarily located in the cytosol of cells, where Glutathione helps to maintain the redox balance and protect cellular components from damage caused by reactive oxygen species. The localization of Glutathione is vital because Glutathione allows for immediate response to oxidative stress, ensuring that cells can quickly neutralize harmful free radicals. Additionally, Glutathione is involved in various metabolic processes, including the detoxification of harmful compounds and the regulation of cellular signaling pathways. Anti-Glutathione antibody (D8) specifically targets this important protein, making Glutathione antibody (D8) an invaluable tool for researchers studying oxidative stress, cellular metabolism, and related pathologies.
