SEE ALSO...

Glutamine-rich 2 Antibody (F-4) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects Glutamine-rich 2 protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-Glutamine-rich 2 antibody (F-4) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Glutamine-rich 2 (F-4) monoclonal antibody recognizes a protein consisting of 1,663 amino acids, featuring a significant glutamine-rich region of nearly 400 amino acids, which plays a crucial role in mediating protein-protein interactions, thereby influencing various cellular processes such as signal transduction and gene expression. This essential protein regulates cellular functions and may contribute to disease development when dysregulated. Glutamine-rich 2 undergoes alternative splicing, resulting in three distinct isoforms, adding complexity to functional roles. Located on human chromosome 17, the Glutamine-rich 2 gene shares a region with key tumor suppressor genes, including p53 and BRCA1, which maintain genomic stability and prevent tumorigenesis. Understanding Glutamine-rich 2 interactions and functions can provide insights into cancer biology and therapeutic strategies.
