GKLF/EKLF/LKLF Antibody (F-8) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody raised against an epitope mapping to amino acids 449-481 at the C-terminus of mouse GKLF, also known as Kruppel-like factor 4 (KLF4). Anti-GKLF/EKLF/LKLF antibody (F-8) is validated for applications including western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA), with reactivity across mouse, rat, and human species. KLF4, along with EKLF (KLF1) and LKLF (KLF2), belongs to the Kruppel-like family of zinc finger transcription factors that regulate diverse cellular processes such as proliferation, differentiation, and development. KLF4 interacts with p53 to mediate cell cycle arrest and promote DNA damage repair, and with β-catenin to influence Wnt signaling and cellular differentiation. KLF4 is predominantly expressed in epithelial tissues and maintains tissue homeostasis and barrier integrity. EKLF activates β-globin gene expression during erythropoiesis, while LKLF modulates vascular integrity and endothelial function. These Kruppel-like factors interact with specific transcriptional regulators and co-factors, highlighting their versatility in gene regulation. GKLF/EKLF/LKLF (F-8) antibody serves as a valuable tool for studying Kruppel-like factors in development, homeostasis, and disease.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good for WBThe antibody is effective for SDS immunoblotting. To dilute the primary antibody, we used a ratio of 1:500 in a mixture of 5% nonfat dry milk, 1X TBS, and 0.1% Tween® 20. The antibody was left overnight at 4°C.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Mouse Klf4 detection by western blottingMouse Klf4 connected with Venus and P2A was overexpressed in Lenti-X 293T cells, a derivative of HEK293T. Mouse Klf4 was clearly detected by Venus-P2A-Klf4 overexpression. Membrane was blocked with 5% Skim-milk/TBST and the antibody was diluted with 5% BSA/TBST.
