SEE ALSO...

GATAD1 Antibody (GATA9A1D3) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b antibody that detects GATAD1 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and flow cytometry (FCM). Anti-GATAD1 antibody (GATA9A1D3) is available as a non-conjugated format. GATAD1, also known as GATA zinc finger domain-containing protein 1 or ODAG (ocular development-associated gene protein), is a 269 amino acid protein crucial for early ocular development, particularly in the formation of the lens and its surrounding structures. GATAD1 is predominantly expressed in postnatal eye tissue, highlighting a significant role in transforming ocular tissues into a functional eye. GATAD1 contains a GATA-type zinc finger that serves as a DNA-binding domain, which is essential for regulatory functions in gene expression. GATAD1 expression decreases significantly after the early stages of development, indicating temporal importance in ocular morphogenesis. GATAD1 gene expression has been found to be amplified in certain cancerous cells, suggesting a potential involvement in carcinogenesis, making GATAD1 a protein of interest in both developmental biology and cancer research.
