FOXP4 Antibody (D-8) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects FOXP4 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). FOXP4 Antibody (D-8) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. FOXP4, a member of the forkhead box (FOX) family of transcription factors, plays a crucial role in regulating gene expression during development and is involved in the repression of lung-specific proteins. FOXP4 is a 680 amino acid nuclear protein characterized by a C2H2-type zinc finger and a FOX DNA-binding domain, which allows FOXP4 to function as a transcriptional repressor. FOXP4 can form homodimers or heterodimers with other FOX proteins, such as FOXP1 and FOXP2, thereby influencing various developmental processes. FOXP4 is implicated in mammalian oncogenesis, particularly in the formation of kidney and larynx tumors, highlighting FOXP4′s significance in cancer biology. Multiple isoforms of FOXP4 exist due to alternative splicing events, adding complexity to FOXP4′s functional roles and making anti-FOXP4 antibody (D-8) an essential tool for researchers studying gene regulation and cancer development.
