FOXD3 Antibody (5G9B10) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects FOXD3 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-FOXD3 antibody (5G9B10) is available as a non-conjugated format. FOXD3 plays a crucial role in regulating embryonic stem cell pluripotency and is essential for maintaining undifferentiated states in these cells. FOXD3 functions as a transcriptional regulator, and FOXD3 expression is tightly controlled during development; while FOXD3 is generally downregulated after gastrulation, FOXD3 remains active in the neural crest. FOXD3′s ability to interact with various growth factors, such as FGF8 and SNAIL, is vital for sustaining the undifferentiated state of embryonic stem cells, and defects in FOXD3 induction can lead to premature differentiation and migration-related birth defects. FOXD3 serves as a key player in early development and a significant factor in understanding developmental disorders and potential therapeutic targets.
