Datasheets
  • FHL-2 Antibody (F-1) is a mouse monoclonal IgM κ FHL-2 antibody provided at 200 µg/ml
  • specific for an epitope mapping between amino acids 242-270 at the C-terminus of FHL-2 of human origin
  • recommended for detection of FHL-2 of mouse, rat, human and avian origin by WB, IP, IF, IHC(P) and ELISA; also reactive with additional species, including and equine, canine, bovine and avian
  • m-IgGκ BP-HRP is the preferred secondary detection reagent for FHL-2 Antibody (F-1) for WB and IHC(P) applications. This reagent is now offered in a bundle with FHL-2 Antibody (F-1) (see ordering information below). For additional m-IgGκ BP conjugates see our complete list of Mouse IgG Binding Proteins.

    SEE ALSO...

FHL-2 Antibody (F-1) is a mouse monoclonal IgM antibody that detects FHL-2 of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-FHL-2 antibody (F-1) is available as a non-conjugated format. The four-and-a-half-LIM domain (FHL) proteins, including FHL-1, FHL-2, FHL-3, and FHL-4, are characterized by a unique "half-domain" structure featuring a single zinc finger domain in the N-terminal region, distinguishing FHL proteins from other LIM-only proteins that possess multiple zinc fingers. FHL-2 plays a crucial role in cellular signaling pathways, particularly in selective activation of transcription factors such as CREB and CREM, which are vital for regulating gene expression in response to various stimuli. FHL-2 expression is notably high in cardiac and skeletal muscle tissues, as well as in placenta and ovaries, indicating importance in muscle development and reproductive functions. FHL-2 interaction with other proteins in the FHL family suggests a complex regulatory network influencing muscle differentiation and function. Understanding FHL-2 and associated interactions can provide insights into muscle-related diseases and developmental disorders, making FHL-2 (F-1) monoclonal antibody an essential tool for researchers studying these critical biological processes.
