  • specific for an epitope mapping between amino acids 171-198 at the C-terminus of FGF-6 of human origin
  • FGF-6 Antibody (B-12) is recommended for detection of precursor and mature FGF-4, FGF-5 and FGF-6 of mouse, rat and human origin by WB, IP, IF, IHC(P) and ELISA; also reactive with additional species, including and equine, canine and porcine
  • Anti-FGF-6 Antibody (B-12) is available conjugated to agarose for IP; HRP for WB, IHC(P) and ELISA; and to either phycoerythrin or FITC for IF, IHC(P) and FCM
  • also available conjugated to Alexa Fluor® 488, Alexa Fluor® 546, Alexa Fluor® 594 or Alexa Fluor® 647 for WB (RGB), IF, IHC(P) and FCM, and for use with RGB fluorescent imaging systems, such as iBright™ FL1000, FluorChem™, Typhoon, Azure and other comparable systems

SEE ALSO...

FGF-6 Antibody (B-12) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects FGF-6 in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-FGF-6 antibody (B-12) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. FGF-6 plays a crucial role in cellular processes such as proliferation, differentiation, and survival, particularly in mesenchymal, epithelial, and neuroectodermal cells. FGF-6 binding to specific receptors and activating downstream signaling pathways is vital for tissue repair and development, making FGF-6 an important target for research in regenerative medicine and cancer biology. Understanding FGF-6 interactions with other fibroblast growth factors, such as FGF-1 and FGF-2, can provide insights into the complex regulatory networks that govern cell behavior and tissue homeostasis.
