FGF-19 Antibody (W12) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects FGF-19 in human samples through various applications including western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). FGF-19 is a member of the fibroblast growth factor (FGF) family, which plays a crucial role in regulating cellular processes such as proliferation, differentiation, and survival. FGF-19 is involved in metabolic regulation and influences bile acid synthesis and glucose metabolism, making FGF-19 an important factor in maintaining metabolic homeostasis. FGF-19 is primarily expressed in the liver and intestine, where FGF-19 acts as a signaling molecule that interacts with fibroblast growth factor receptors (FGFRs) to mediate biological effects. Understanding FGF-19 function is vital, as dysregulation of FGF-19 signaling pathway has been implicated in various metabolic disorders, including obesity and diabetes. Anti-FGF-19 antibody (W12) provides a reliable tool for researchers aiming to explore the role of FGF-19 in health and disease.
