Fenpyroximate, a member of the pyrazole family of insecticides, is widely utilized for insect control, targeting both sucking and chewing pests. Its versatility as a contact and stomach poison makes it suitable for various settings, including agricultural and non-agricultural environments. By impeding the function of acetylcholinesterase, an enzyme responsible for breaking down the neurotransmitter acetylcholine in the nervous system, fenpyroximate induces paralysis and eventually leads to the demise of the insect.
