The activation of multiple molecular pathways is responsible for the positive effects of Fenofibric Acid Acyl-β-D-glucuronide (also known as fenofibryl glucuronide). One of these pathways is the nuclear factor kappa B (NF-kB) pathway, which plays a role in regulating inflammation, cell survival, and apoptosis. Fenofibric Acid Acyl-β-D-glucuronide is able to activate the NF-kB pathway, leading to the production of anti-inflammatory cytokines and the prevention of apoptosis.
