Fenofibrate-d6 is a deuterium-labeled antilipemic agent. It is a lipid regulating drug. Increases high density lipoprotein levels by reducing cholesteryl ester transfer protein expresion. Deuterium-labeled compounds are useful in kinetic isotope effect experiments and also as an internal standard for quantification by NMR.
