SEE ALSO...

FBXO7 Antibody (E-8) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects FBXO7 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). FBXO7 (E-8) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. FBXO7, also known as F-box protein 7, is a crucial component of the SCF (Skp1-CUL-1-F-box protein) E3 ubiquitin ligase complex, which plays a vital role in substrate recognition and recruitment for ubiquitination. FBXO7 is involved in the regulation of numerous cellular processes, including cell cycle, immune responses, signaling pathways, and developmental events, by targeting specific proteins such as cyclins and cyclin-dependent kinase inhibitors for proteasomal degradation. FBXO7 contains one F-box domain and is composed of 522 amino acids, which is essential for its function within the SCF complex. Defects in the gene encoding FBXO7 have been linked to parkinsonian-pyramidal syndrome (PKPS), a disorder characterized by hypokinetic rigidity and symptoms associated with both Parkinson′s disease and pyramidal tract dysfunction, highlighting FBXO7′s significance in maintaining neurological health.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from working for western blotWe use this antibody to detect Fbxo7 on mouse tissue lysats. The signal in general is not strong. But we couldn't make it work for IP on mouse material.
