FBL3B Antibody (4A1) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects FBL3B protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-FBL3B antibody (4A1) is available as the non-conjugated format. FBL3B protein, consisting of 434 amino acids and encoded by the human gene FBXL21, plays a crucial role in cellular processes due to involvement in the SCF (Skp1-CUL-1-F-box protein) type E3 ubiquitin ligase complex. This complex is essential for substrate recognition and recruitment for ubiquitination, which is a key mechanism for regulating protein degradation. FBL3B contains a 40 amino acid F-box region and three leucine-rich repeats, which are critical for function in targeting various proteins, including cyclins and b-catenin, for proteasomal degradation. FBL3B interaction with Skp1 p19 and CUL-1 highlights importance in the regulation of cell cycle, immune responses, and developmental processes. Additionally, FBL3B is associated with expression and regulation of circadian and cryptochrome proteins, underscoring significance in maintaining cellular rhythms and responses to environmental changes.
