    SEE ALSO...

FAM83C Antibody (C-11) is a mouse monoclonal IgM antibody that detects FAM83C of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-FAM83C antibody (C-11) is available as the non-conjugated form. FAM83C plays a crucial role in cellular signaling pathways, particularly in regulating the RAS signaling cascade, which is vital for cell growth and differentiation. Dysregulation of this pathway can lead to various cancers, making FAM83C an important protein for understanding tumorigenesis and potential therapeutic targets. FAM83C is located on chromosome 20, a region associated with several genetic disorders, including amyotrophic lateral sclerosis and Alagille syndrome, highlighting FAM83C′s significance in both normal physiology and disease states. FAM83C has been provisionally designated pending further characterization, and ongoing research continues to explore FAM83C′s interactions with other proteins and potential implications in cancer biology.

What application is the blocking peptide sc-390398 P appropriate for?

    Asked by: jenniferc
Thank you for your question. The blocking peptide is intended for use as a negative control, by pre-adsorbing the mouse monoclonal antibody against the antigen. For full protocol details, please contact our Technical Services Department or view our online protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/peptide-neutralization
