FAM3B Antibody (1E7) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects FAM3B protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-FAM3B antibody (1E7) is available as the non-conjugated format. FAM3B, also known as family with sequence similarity 3, member B, ORF9, C21orf11, or PANDER (pancreatic-derived factor), is a 235 amino acid secreted protein that plays a crucial role in cellular signaling and metabolic regulation. FAM3B is primarily expressed in the pancreas, where FAM3B is involved in the modulation of insulin secretion and the promotion of apoptosis in pancreatic beta-cells, which is vital for maintaining glucose homeostasis. FAM3B localization to discrete vesicular and perinuclear structures suggests involvement in intracellular signaling pathways that influence cellular responses to metabolic changes.
