Evi-1 Antibody (H-8) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects the Evi-1 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Evi-1 (H-8) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. The Evi-1 protein, a proto-oncogene, plays a critical role in regulating gene expression and cellular differentiation, particularly in hematopoietic cells. Evi-1′s structure features two zinc finger domains, which are crucial for function; the second zinc finger domain is essential for the transactivation of the c-Fos promoter and activation of the AP-1 transcription factor complex.
