For a manuscript under revision I urgently need accurate information about the epitope used to generate the HC-20 anti-ERalpha polyclonal antibody. I have a text document stating that it is the last 50 amino acids, but find nothing online?

Hi I was using sc-543x for my chip experiments. I have few experiments left to do with the same antibody. why have been this antibody discontinued? Thanks

Thank you for your question. Yes, our rabbit polyclonal antibody, ERα (HC-20): sc-543, has been discontinued and is no longer available. Our highly recommended replacement monoclonal antibodies for ERα have also been validated for ChIP. Both clones, ERα (F-10): sc-8002 and ERα (D-12): sc-8005, have been cited in numerous publications for use in Chromatin Immunoprecipitation (ChIP) applications. Please contact our Technical Service Department if you would like to request a free 10 µg sample of these antibodies to test in your application. In particular, we used this antibody to detect protein levels in mytosol in hippocampus and prefrontal cortex of rats. In general, we are satisfied with the obtained results from our samples. Dilutions of Ab, up to 1:1000.
