Asked by: andread
Thank you for your question. The exact peptide sequence used to raise our rabbit polyclonal antibody, EpoR (M-20): sc-697, is considered proprietary information. The antibody does have an epitope mapping at the C-terminus of EpoR of mouse origin. Please contact our Technical Service Department for further support. We are happy to help perform sequence analysis for you to answer any specific questions you have about the antibody reactivity.

porcine cell에 적용하여도 될까요?

Asked by: dddd
Thank you for your inquiry. This EpoR antibody, sc-697, is not recommended nor warrantied to react with porcine samples as it is not expected to recognize the porcine EpoR protein.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from I and others found that M20 cannot differentiateI and others found that M20 cannot differentiate EpoR positive from negative tissues by IHC. By Western M-20 detects non-EpoR proteins and it also gives false positive staining of a proein that comigrates with EpoR in some tissues and cell lines. This antibody should not be used for either application. The positive control on the website (K-562) expresses little EpoR, it is derived from a patient with CML and contains the bcr-abl mutation (not erythroleukemia). It is an inappropriate positive control because it gives false-positive staining of a non-EpoR protein(s).
