ENT1 Antibody (G-6) is a mouse monoclonal IgM antibody that detects equilibrative nucleoside transporter 1 (ENT1) in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). ENT1 plays a crucial role in the transport of nucleosides across cell membranes, facilitating the uptake of essential molecules like adenosine, which is vital for various physiological processes including neurotransmission and cellular signaling. Anti-ENT1 antibody (G-6) is particularly important in studying drug delivery, as ENT1 is responsible for the uptake of antiviral and anticancer nucleoside drugs, thereby influencing therapeutic efficacy. Located primarily in the plasma membrane, ENT1 is part of the solute carrier family 29 and works in concert with other transporters, such as ENT3, to regulate nucleoside levels within the cell. This regulation is essential for maintaining cellular homeostasis and ensuring that cells can respond appropriately to external signals. ENT1 (G-6) antibody is an invaluable tool for researchers studying nucleoside transport mechanisms and their implications in health and disease.
