SEE ALSO...

Elmo2 Antibody (C-12) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects Elmo2 of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). anti-Elmo2 antibody (C-12) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Elmo2 plays a crucial role in regulating cytoskeletal dynamics, particularly in processes such as cell motility and phagocytosis of apoptotic cells. Elmo2 interacts with Rho G in a GTP-dependent manner, forming a ternary complex with DOCK 180, which is essential for Rac 1 activation. This pathway is vital for integrin-mediated cell spreading and neurite outgrowth induced by nerve growth factor, highlighting Elmo2′s importance in cellular responses to environmental cues. Additionally, Elmo2′s interaction with other proteins, such as DOCK 180 and Rho G, underscores its role in orchestrating complex signaling pathways that govern cell behavior. Elmo2′s ability to influence these processes makes it a significant target for research in developmental biology and cancer metastasis, where cell motility is a key factor.

Are there any issues with using sc-365739: Elmo2 (C-12) mouse monoclonal primary antibody on mouse samples?

Asked by: Cweed
Thank you for your inquiry. The use of mouse monoclonal antibodies with mouse samples is very common and typically poses no problem. To eliminate any potential cross-reactivity of an anti-mouse secondary detection reagent,we recommend using a directly conjugated primary antibody. Please contact our special orders department for pricing and availability of sc-365739 conjugates.
