eIF5A Antibody (C-1) is a mouse monoclonal IgG3 antibody that detects eIF5A in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). eIF5A plays a crucial role in the regulation of translation initiation, which is vital for cellular function and growth, as eIF5A is involved in the stimulation of ribosomal peptidyl-transferase activity and may facilitate nucleocytoplasmic mRNA transport. eIF5A is localized in both the nuclear and cytoplasmic compartments of mammalian cells, underscoring eIF5A′s importance in various cellular processes.
