EBF3 Antibody (N7Q) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects EBF3 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-EBF3 antibody (N7Q) is available as the non-conjugated form. EBF3 plays a crucial role in B lymphocyte maturation, a process essential for adaptive immune response. As a transcription factor, EBF3 regulates gene expression necessary for B cell development, including components of B cell receptor and B lymphoid kinase, which are vital for initiating immunoglobulin light chain gene recombination and signaling pathways. EBF3 is predominantly localized in the nucleus and can form homodimers or heterodimers with other family members, enhancing regulatory capabilities. EBF3′s ability to bind specific DNA sequences, particularly the core sequence CCCNNGGG, through a zinc-coordination motif in DNA-recognition domain underscores importance in transcriptional activation. Additionally, EBF3 exists in two isoforms due to alternative splicing, which may contribute to functional diversity in various cellular contexts.
