    SEE ALSO...

DUE-B Antibody (D-7) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects DUE-B protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). anti-DUE-B antibody (D-7) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. DUE-B, also known as DTD1 (D-tyrosyl-tRNA deacylase 1) or HARS2, consists of 209 amino acids and is primarily localized in the cytoplasm, where DUE-B plays a crucial role in cellular metabolism. DUE-B is involved in the hydrolysis of D-tyrosyl-tRNA(Tyr) into D-tyrosine and free tRNA(Tyr), a process vital for maintaining cellular homeostasis and may act as a defense mechanism against D-tyrosine accumulation, which can be toxic at high levels. DUE-B is also implicated in the S phase of the cell cycle and is essential for DNA replication initiation, highlighting DUE-B′s importance in cell division and growth. DUE-B′s encoding gene is located on human chromosome 20, which contains over 600 genes and represents nearly 2% of the human genome, indicating DUE-B′s evolutionary significance and potential conservation of function across species, as human DUE-B shares 94% sequence identity with its mouse counterpart.
