DNA pol β Antibody (D-11) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects DNA polymerase beta (DNA pol β) of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-DNA pol β antibody (D-11) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. DNA pol β plays a crucial role in DNA repair and replication, particularly in synthesizing short DNA fragments during single-strand break repair. DNA pol β′s ability to accurately incorporate nucleotides maintains genomic integrity, as errors can lead to mutations and genomic instability, which are hallmarks of various diseases, including cancer.
