QUICK LINKS

DMPO is a used as a cell permeable hydrophilic spin trap for studies of superoxide, S-, O-, C- and N- centered free radicals. It has demonstrated neuroprotective properties. When lymphocytes were incubated in the presence of DMPO, DMPO decreased NiCl induced DNA damage.
