  • specific for an epitope mapping between amino acids 98-127 within an internal region of Dlx-5 of human origin
  • recommended for detection of Dlx-5 of mouse, rat and human origin by WB, IP, IF and ELISA
  • TransCruz reagent for ChIP application (sc-398150 X, 200 µg/0.1 ml)
  • m-IgGκ BP-HRP is the preferred secondary detection reagent for Dlx-5 Antibody (H-4) for WB applications. This reagent is now offered in a bundle with Dlx-5 Antibody (H-4) (see ordering information below). For additional m-IgGκ BP conjugates see our complete list of Mouse IgG Binding Proteins.

SEE ALSO...

Dlx-5 Antibody (H-4) is a mouse monoclonal IgM antibody that detects Dlx-5 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-Dlx-5 antibody (H-4) is available as the non-conjugated form. Dlx-5 (H-4) antibody recognizes a protein that plays a crucial role in craniofacial skeleton development and influences differentiation of various structures within and between teeth, making Dlx-5 essential for proper morphogenesis and patterning during embryonic development. Dlx-5 belongs to the Dlx gene family, which consists of six homeobox-containing genes highly conserved across species and known to influence craniofacial structures and limb formation development. Dlx-5 (H-4) monoclonal antibody targets a protein primarily localized in the nucleus, where Dlx-5 activates transcription, though Dlx-5 can also be found in the cytoplasm, indicating multiple roles in cellular processes. Precise regulation of Dlx-5 expression is vital, as dysregulation can lead to developmental abnormalities, underscoring Dlx-5′s importance in both normal development and potential pathologies.
