QUICK LINKS

DL-Thyronine has been observed to impede the release of pro-inflammatory cytokines, including TNF-α and IL-6. Furthermore, it inhibits the activity of cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2), an enzyme responsible for prostaglandin production and associated with inflammatory responses. Additionally, DL-Thyronine modulates the activity of monoamine oxidase (MAO), an enzyme involved in the breakdown of neurotransmitters like serotonin and dopamine.
