Diatomaceous earth non-washed is a highly insoluble, inert material for use as a filtration aid. Diatomaceous earth is a naturally occurring sedimentary rock made up of the fossilized remains of microscopic aquatic plants known as diatoms. Celite is used in filtration processes as a filter aid to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of filtration.
