DENND4B Antibody (F-10) is a mouse monoclonal IgM antibody that detects DENND4B protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-DENND4B antibody (F-10) is available as the non-conjugated form. DENND4B protein, also known as KIAA0476, is a 1,496 amino acid protein characterized by the presence of a dDENN domain, a DENN domain, a uDENN domain, a MABP domain, and two pentatricopeptide repeats (PPR). DENND4B plays a crucial role in cellular signaling by activating Rab10, a small GTPase essential for vesicle trafficking and membrane dynamics, particularly in the context of the Golgi apparatus. DENND4B is vital for maintaining cellular homeostasis and facilitating the transport of proteins and lipids, which are critical for various cellular processes. DENND4B gene is located on human chromosome 1, the largest chromosome in the human genome, which spans approximately 260 million base pairs and constitutes about 8% of the genome. Notably, chromosome 1 also harbors other significant genes, such as LMNA, linked to Hutchinson-Gilford progeria, and the MUTYH gene, associated with familial adenomatous polyposis, highlighting the importance of this chromosomal region in human health and disease.
