QUICK LINKS

Deacetylforskolin is a Forskolin (sc-3562) analog that may act to activate rat brain adenylate cyclase and rat brain adenylate cyclase solubilized in detergent. Deacetylforskolin is also studied for its inhibition of 3H-foskolin binding to rat brain membranes. Deacetylforskolin exerts its effects through multiple cellular pathways, including the adenylate cyclase-cAMP pathway and the phosphoinositide 3-kinase (PI3K) pathway.
