QUICK LINKS

DCPIB is a selective blocker of VSAC/ICl,swell in various CV tissues. DCPIB inhibits glucose-stimulated insulin release. In vitro, DCPIB reverses cell swelling-induced action potential duration shortening in atrial myocytes and inhibits astroglial swelling. in rat pancreatic cells, DCPIB acted as a volume-regulated anion channel (VRAC) blocker. DCPIB can also inhibit VRAC-mediated transport of 2′3′-cyclic-GMP-AMP. In atrial myocytes, DCPIB can reverse cell swelling-induced action potential duration shortening.
