D53 Antibody (d1C5) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b antibody that detects D53 protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunofluorescence (IF), and immunohistochemistry. D53 protein, also known as tumor protein D52-like 1 (TPD52L1), plays a crucial role in cell cycle regulation, particularly during G2/M phase transition, where D53 ensures accurate chromosome segregation. D53 protein is characterized by a coiled-coil motif, which facilitates interactions with other proteins, including 14-3-3, a known negative regulator of G2/M transition, particularly in breast cancer cells.
