    SEE ALSO...

D-Dimer Antibody (DD3) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b antibody that detects the D-Dimer protein of human origin by western blotting (WB) and immunoprecipitation (IP). Anti-D-Dimer antibody (DD3) is available as the non-conjugated format, providing a reliable tool for researchers studying coagulation processes. D-Dimer, a critical biomarker in the assessment of thrombotic disorders, is generated during the degradation of fibrin, which is a key component of blood clots. D-Dimer protein is formed from the cleavage of fibrin by plasmin, resulting in fragments that are released into the bloodstream. D-Dimer consists of specific amino acid sequences derived from the α, β, and γ chains of fibrinogen, with the dimeric structure stabilized by disulfide and isopeptide bonds. Measurement of D-Dimer levels in plasma and whole blood is particularly important in clinical settings, as elevated levels can indicate the presence of venous thromboembolism, making D-Dimer monoclonal antibody (DD3) an essential tool for both diagnostic and research applications in understanding coagulation and its disorders.
