QUICK LINKS

Cyproterone, a synthetic steroidal anti-androgen, exhibits potent antineoplastic properties. In its acetate form, Cyproterone interacts with the androgen receptor (AR), effectively halting androgen-triggered receptor activation and curtailing the growth of testosterone-sensitive tumor cells. Notably, it also exerts progesterogenic activity, leading to diminished testicular androgen secretion and comprehensive androgen blockade.
