    SEE ALSO...

CTXL Antibody (ICO-44) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects the CTXL protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), and flow cytometry (FCM). Anti-CTXL antibody (ICO-44) is available as the non-conjugated format. CTXL protein, also known as cortical thymocyte-like protein or VSIG2 (V-set and immunoglobulin domain-containing protein 2), plays a crucial role in immune regulation and cell signaling, particularly in T cell development and function. This 327 amino acid single-pass type-I membrane protein features one immunoglobulin-like C2-type domain and one immunoglobulin-like V-type domain, which are essential for protein interactions and mediating biological functions. CTXL shows predominant expression in tissues such as stomach, colon, prostate, trachea, and thyroid glands, while maintaining lower expression in bladder and lung. The gene encoding CTXL spans approximately 4,767 bases on human chromosome 11q24.2, a region associated with various genetic disorders, including Jervell and Lange-Nielsen syndrome and Jacobsen syndrome. Understanding CTXL function and expression patterns remains vital for elucidating roles in immune responses and potential implications in disease states, making CTXL (ICO-44) monoclonal antibody an invaluable research tool for studying these pathways.
