    SEE ALSO...

CSN1 Antibody (E-4) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects CSN1 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). CSN1 (E-4) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. CSN1, a crucial component of the COP9 signalosome complex, plays a significant role in regulating the ubiquitin conjugation pathway, which is essential for protein degradation and cellular homeostasis. This complex, composed of several proteins including CSN2, CSN3, and CSN5, is involved in various developmental and cellular processes, such as the deneddylation of SCF-type E3 ligase complexes, which ultimately reduces their ubiquitin ligase activity. CSN1 is implicated in the phosphorylation of key regulatory proteins like p53 and c-Jun, influencing cell cycle progression and apoptosis. CSN1′s ability to modulate these pathways highlights its importance in maintaining cellular function and responding to stress, making CSN1 a valuable target for research in cancer and developmental biology.
