Microslides – CrystalCruz^®

CrystalCruz® Microslides are designed to hold samples in place for examination with a microscope. They are fabricated using modern techniques to provide superior cleanliness and quality for cytology, histology, and general microbiology applications. Microslides have been individually cleaned and come with clipped/rounded corners for safe handling. Dimensions of the slides are 3" x 1" with 1 mm thickness. Four different types are available. Plain Microslides (sc-363563) are pathology grade and have beveled edges. Double Frosted Microslides (sc-363561) allow for writing on both sides of the slide. Electrostatically Charged Microslides (sc-363562) are positively charged making them excellent for immunohistochemistry and cytology. They are designed to reduce tissue loss and maximize cellular adhesion. Adhesive Microslides (sc-363560) are amino-silane treated for various microscopy applications, particularly useful for pathology and immunohistochemistry. They are the ideal choice for special stains and frozen sections. There are 72 slides per pack. Use with a on CrystalCruz® Coverglass top of the slide to preserve the specimen, slow drying, and prevent contamination.
