Description
CrystalCruz® Microscope Slide Coverslips, also known as coverglass, are made of nonstick clear glass with consistent surface quality making it suitable for work in histology, cytology, urinalysis, and microbiology. The main function of the Coverslip is to keep solid specimens pressed flat and liquid samples shaped into a flat layer of even thickness for microscopy and imaging. Coverslip protects the specimen by preventing it from drying out and holds it in place. Coverslips also protect the objective lenses of a microscope from the specimen. CrystalCruz® Microscope Slide Coverslips offer superior clarity and excellent chemical resistance. They come precleaned, vacuum packed, and moisture-free. Coverslips comply with a No. 1 thickness range of 0.13 to 0.17 mm. Different sizes are available all with a weight of 1 ounce.
