SEE ALSO...

CRY1 Antibody (H-12) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects CRY1 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). anti-CRY1 antibody (H-12) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. CRY1 plays a crucial role in regulating circadian rhythms, acting as a light-independent inhibitor of the circadian clock. CRY1 is primarily located in the nucleus, where CRY1 interacts with key transcription factors such as Clock and BMAL1 to modulate their activity. This nuclear localization is vital because CRY1 directly influences the expression of genes involved in the circadian cycle, thereby maintaining the synchronization of biological processes with environmental light cues. By forming complexes with other circadian proteins, CRY1 helps establish a feedback loop essential for proper functioning of the circadian clock, ensuring physiological processes such as sleep-wake cycles and hormonal rhythms are appropriately timed.
