CRSP34 Antibody (B-7) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects CRSP34 of human origin and Med27 of mouse and rat origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). CRSP34 (B-7) antibody is available in non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. CRSP34 plays a crucial role in transcription regulation within mammalian cells, functioning as part of the CRSP (cofactor required for Sp1 activation) complex, which mediates signals between transcriptional activators and RNA polymerase. This complex contains nine distinct subunits and shows ubiquitous expression across various tissues, highlighting CRSP34′s importance in gene expression regulation. CRSP34′s structural integrity is vital, as CRSP34 interacts with other components of transcription machinery, including TAFIIs, to facilitate transcriptional activation by Sp1. CRSP34′s association with larger multimeric coactivator complexes, such as ARC/DRI and NAT, underscores CRSP34′s role in both enhancing and repressing transcription, making CRSP34 a key player in gene regulation.
