QUICK LINKS

Cordycepin 5′-triphosphate sodium salt is incorporated into nucleic acid by poly(A) polymerase. Since it lacks a 3′-hydroxyl group chain production, Cordycepin 5′-triphosphate can be used for 3′-end labeling of RNA. It is a nucleotide derivative that can inhibit DNA and RNA synthesis, as well as the production of cellular energy, by blocking relevant enzymes. It also exhibits antiviral properties by suppressing the replication of the hepatitis B virus and the herpes simplex virus.
