QUICK LINKS

Copper oxychloride has been used as an agricultural fungicide, a pigment in pyrotechnics, and as a catalyst. It inhibits the synthesis of plant hormones: auxins and gibberellins. Copper oxychloride has an inhibitory effect on enzymes in the shikimate pathway, which is essential for the biosynthesis of aromatic amino acids.
