Conglobatin, isolated from Streptomyces conglobatus, presents an unusual dimeric macrolide dilactone structure with pendant oxazole groups. The structure shows similarity to mold metabolites vermiculin and pyrenophorin. Conglobatin has exhibited immunosuppressant activity in NFAT-dependant transcription assay at a concentration of 0.63 μg/ml.
