CLEC-10A Antibody (ER-MP23) is a rat monoclonal IgG2a antibody that detects CLEC-10A protein of mouse origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and flow cytometry (FCM). CLEC-10A Antibody (ER-MP23) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. CLEC-10A, also known as C-type lectin domain family 10, member A, macrophage galactose and N-acetylgalactosamine-specific lectin, or macrophage asialoglycoprotein-binding protein, plays a crucial role in immune response due to galactose-binding activity and specificity for certain sugars. CLEC-10A is predominantly expressed in macrophages, particularly in mouse lung tissue, where CLEC-10A serves as a unique marker, and CLEC-10A expression is notably intense in skin extracts, indicating a significant presence in dermis and subcutaneous layers. CLEC-10A localization suggests a role in mediating interactions between macrophages and tumor cells, potentially influencing tumor progression and immune evasion. CLEC-10A binding to specific glycoproteins enhances understanding of macrophage function in both normal physiology and disease states, making anti-CLEC-10A antibody (ER-MP23) an essential tool for researchers studying immune responses and macrophage biology.

How can CLEC-10A (ER-MP23): sc-56109 mouse monoclonal antibody be used for double or triple staining, if the other primary antibodies are also raised in mouse?

Asked by: DefinitelyNotMatt
In this case, we recommend using a directly conjugated mouse monoclonal primary antibody. This antibody is available conjugated to phycoerythrin (sc-56109 PE) or fluoroscein (sc-56109 FITC).
