CKR-7 Antibody (ELC-Fc) is a human IgG1 Fc chimera antibody that detects CKR-7 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by immunofluorescence (IF) and flow cytometry (FCM). CKR-7 Antibody (ELC-Fc) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. CKR-7, also known as C-C chemokine receptor type 7, CCR7, CMKBR7, EBI1, or EVI1, is a 378 amino acid multi-pass membrane protein that plays a crucial role in the immune system by mediating the migration of lymphocytes to sites of inflammation. This receptor is primarily expressed in activated B- and T-lymphocytes, as well as in various lymphoid tissues, and functions as a receptor for the chemokine MIP-3β. CKR-7 facilitates normal lymphocyte function, which is essential for an effective immune response. Additionally, CKR-7 is part of the C-C chemokine receptor family, which includes several other receptors that are G protein-coupled and integral to the chemotaxis of immune cells. Understanding CKR-7 function is vital, as dysregulation can contribute to various pathological conditions, including autoimmune diseases and cancer, where altered lymphocyte trafficking can lead to inappropriate immune responses.

How can CKR-7 (ELC-Fc): sc-23936 mouse monoclonal antibody be used for double or triple staining, if the other primary antibodies are also raised in mouse?

Asked by: Dr Ninau Qelp
In this case, we recommend using a directly conjugated mouse monoclonal primary antibody. This antibody is available conjugated to phycoerythrin (sc-23936 PE) or fluoroscein (sc-23936 FITC).
