SEE ALSO...

CIS Antibody (F-9) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects CIS in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). CIS Antibody (F-9) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. CIS, or cytokine-inducible SH2-containing protein, is a critical regulator of cytokine signaling, consisting of 267 amino acids and featuring a single 96 amino acid SH2 domain. This domain is essential for CIS function, as SH2 allows interaction with tyrosine-phosphorylated receptors, such as the β chain of the interleukin-3 receptor and the erythropoietin receptor, thereby modulating downstream signaling pathways. CIS association with these receptors highlights a role in the regulation of cellular responses to cytokines, making CIS a vital component in the signaling cascades that influence cell growth, differentiation, and survival. anti-CIS antibody (F-9) enables researchers to gain valuable insights into the mechanisms of cytokine signaling and implications in various biological processes and diseases.
